The Company has contracts with the local utility provider Yorkshire Water to provide, deliver and spread fully digested bio-solids compost from various local waste water treatment plants to farms throughout East Yorkshire. This organic product is rich in nutrients and is a valuable fertilizer and soil improver. Bio-pellets from Yorkshire Water's Hull treatment works are also available for spreading locally.
All land that is destined to have bio-solids applied has to be thoroughly tested and approved by Yorkshire Water prior to any spreading taking place. These measures ensure that all bio-solids recycled to land are undertaken in accordance with The Safe Sludge Matrix.
With its fleet of two new high capacity KTwo 18-tonne spreaders and JCB loader, fitted with an on-board weigher, the company also offers an accurate and even spreading service for farmyard manure, poultry litter and compost.
